Who we are

DealProbe is an automated pre-LOI deal-analysis tool operated for people evaluating businesses to acquire. Contact: privacy@getdealprobe.com.

What we collect

• Information you enter into deal intake (asking price, revenue, SDE, add-backs, pasted broker text, notes) so the analysis can run.
• Files you upload with a deal, if any. Automated document extraction (OCR) may not be enabled at the time of use; where it is not, uploads are held only for the duration of the session unless you choose to save the deal to your account.
• Basic account information if you create an account (email, hashed password, subscription status).
• Usage telemetry: page views, feature usage counts, analysis-run counts, response-loop counts, model latency and error counts, aggregate estimated cost. This is used for allowance enforcement and product improvement.

What we do not collect

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your submitted deal materials to train third-party AI models.
• We do not share individual deal details with other users.

How your data is used

• To generate your deal analysis, response-loop updates, and exports.
• To enforce plan allowances (100 new analyses per billing month, 10 per day).
• To improve the product in aggregate. Sensitive numeric details and identifiable business names are not used in training or shared externally.
• To communicate with you about your account and the service.

Retention

Saved deals persist while your account is active. You can delete a deal or your account at any time; deletion removes it from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to standard backup rotation.

Confidential deal information

Only submit deal materials you are authorized to share. NDAs between you and the seller/broker may restrict what you can paste or upload; you are responsible for compliance with those NDAs.

Security

DealProbe uses HTTPS in transit and standard cloud-provider protections at rest. We do not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any other formal security certification at this time.

Your choices

• Access, correct, delete, or export your account data by contacting privacy@getdealprobe.com.
• Disable optional telemetry (where offered) in account settings.

Changes

Material changes will be posted here and, where required, communicated to account holders by email.

Items flagged for attorney review: (1) sub-processor list disclosures, (2) state-specific rights (CCPA/CPRA, CT, VA, CO, etc.), (3) international data transfer clauses if the service is offered outside the US, (4) breach-notification timelines, (5) definitions and boundary of "sensitive information" for deal packets under NDA.
